Todd McKeever Hired to Succeed Tom Wanner as MAPIC Executive Director

Dec 1, 2021

The Mechanical and Plumbing Industry Council (MAPIC) is proud to announce Todd McKeever, Ph.D., was selected to be the organization’s next Executive Director, succeeding Tom Wanner, who will retiring in the spring after 27 years of service.

McKeever is a seasoned MCA veteran with 26 years of experience as Executive Vice President of Laurel MCA, Inc. in Ligonier Pennsylvania. He comes to Northeast Ohio with a wealth of credentials and industry knowledge.

Wanner will work with McKeever as he transitions into the new role and will help him become familiar with the different organizations and funds, along with MAPIC’s affiliated contractors.

MAPIC is composed of the Mechanical Contractors’ Association of Cleveland (MCA); the Cleveland Plumbing Contractors’ Association, Inc. (CPCA); the Certified Pipe Welding Bureau of Cleveland, Inc. (CPWB); the East Central Ohio Mechanical Contractors’ Association (ECOMCA); the Mechanical Contractors’ Association of North Central Ohio (MCA NCO); and the Mechanical Service Contractors Association (MSCA), which represent companies invested in the plumbing and pipefitting industry.

The total combined membership of the three associations and the two industry funds are 91 mechanical and plumbing contractors serving most portions of the northeast Ohio area and areas of north central Ohio.

McKeever will join the MAPIC staff in early January.

We welcome him, along with his wife Susan and son Eli.
