Increased OSHA Activity

Oct 31, 2024

We are aware of increased OSHA activity currently happening.  This is the time of year that OSHA is conducting an unusual amount of inspections on construction projects, regarded as a “Blitz”.  These inspections are random based on Dodge Reports (a data base of active construction projects).

Be prepared for OSHA’s presence on your site.

Some ways you can be prepared are:

  1. Do safety inspections of your job sites. Identify and fix any unsafe conditions.
  2.  Ensure required training is completed and documented.
  3. Enforce written disciplinary program.
  4. Ensure workers have proper safety equipment and it is inspected.
  5. Prepare workers for inspection.
