Governor DeWine Announces $5 Billion Rebate

Governor DeWine announced that employers will receive $5 billion in repayments from workers compensation premiums paid. The purpose is to help with the financial impact of COVID-19. The BWC has yet to approve but is expected to at the next Board Meeting. Checks should be expected by the end of November.

Governor DeWine also announced $125 million grant program to help small businesses that have been harmed by the effects of COVID-19. Each county will have $500,000 set aside for businesses. Grants will be approved for funding on first-come first served basis at $10,000 each. The application deadline is November 2, 2020.
