Executive Director Tom Wanner Retires

Longtime MAPIC Executive Director Wanner retired on May 2.

He devoted 35 years of his life to the industry, and in doing so, became one of the most excellent and respected Executive Directors in the U.S.

Throughout his career, he worked hard to advance the industry and become a resource for affiliated contractors and other industry organizations. His dedication was unwavering and his professionalism was unmatched. He was well-respected throughout the Northeast Ohio Construction industry and nationally by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).

Over the course of his career, Wanner received many accolades, awards and proclamations, but perhaps his favorite acknowledgement was the dedication of a scholarship in his name from the MCAA. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving student!

Wanner is succeed by Todd McKeever, who previously served as the as Executive Vice President of Laurel MCA, Inc. in Ligonier Pennsylvania.

The entire MAPIC staff, along with our affiliated contractors, congratulate Wanner on his well-deserved retirement and wish him the best in the next phase of his life.
